Founder DeShane Jones

Founder DeShane Jones is a social entrepreneur and community leader. He is a graduate of George Mason University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Film and Video Studies with a minor in Communication. He was initiated by the Theta Tau Sigma Alumni Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity in November 2018 and currently serves as 1st Vice President. He is also the Vice President of the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) of Northern Virginia. Professionally, DeShane works as a government contractor and a live events operator for Yahoo and ESPN. DeShane loves his family and enjoys spending time with his mother and sister who currently reside in Stafford, Virginia. His twin brother Donovan works for Jordan Peele at MonkeyPaw Productions based in Los Angeles. In his free time, DeShane enjoys content creation, basketball, community service, and event planning.

Founder Etlin Flores

Founder Etlin Flores is a distinguished professional in Student Affairs and education. As a first-generation Honduran-American, raised in Staten Island, New York, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Buffalo State University and a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, focusing on Black women in predominantly White institutions from Stony Brook University. Currently, as a Community Director at George Mason University, she adeptly supervises, mentors, and spearheads departmental projects while guiding and empowering young college students." Etlin is an esteemed member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, initiated by the Nu Xi Zeta Chapter in Alexandria, Virginia. Within her chapter, she holds a significant role as a co-chair for Service and Social Action and serves as a representative on the Northern Virginia National Panhellenic Council (NPHC). With a fervent dedication to serving the Black community, her focus particularly centers on uplifting Black women and girls. One of her paramount aspirations includes establishing a global mentorship program tailored for Black women and girls Etlin holds a profound affection for dogs and animals and proudly cares for an 11-year-old chihuahua mix. Her interests include event planning, collecting physical books, and cherishing moments with her friends and sorority sisters. Hosting family holidays brings her immense joy, and she treasures the opportunity to bond with her family.
